Escale Nature in Guadeloupe

An overnight stay at Bananes Vertes + a guided hike to the summit of the Soufrière volcano. With this nature stopover in Guadeloupe, we offer you a change of scenery, a break in the heights of Basse Terre, to live to the rhythm of the rainforest.

Program details :

Day 1 : welcome at Bananes Vertes from 3:00 pm. You'll receive a voucher for the next day's outing, a mini briefing to show you the must-sees of southern Basse Terre... mini hikes, waterfalls, hot springs, restaurants for the evening etc...

Day 2 : Meet at 7:30 a.m. at the Bains Jaunes parking lot for the ascent of the Soufrière volcano. The hike lasts around 5 hours. Your guide will explain volcanism and its influence on the island. Once at the summit, your guide will show you the most active areas of the volcano, equipped with a protective mask (supplied).
