Day 01 Reception between 4 pm and 6.30 pm at the international airport "Guadeloupe Pôle Caraïbes" in Pointe-à-Pitre.
Outside this time slot, you will have to reach the accommodation by your own means (allow 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes).
Transfer to the small town of Saint-Claude, in the south of Basse Terre, in superb charming eco-lodges, where we settle for 7 nights.
Presentation of the program of the stay with our local team then dinner.
Day 02 La Ravine Paradis and Creole Garden
A hike at the bottom of the valley of Vieux-Habitants which leads you to the Ravine Paradis located in the heart of the tropical forest and the National Park to reach a waterfall which deserves its name! An extraordinary place where you will discover a luxuriant vegetation and you will bathe in a limpid water basin surrounded by basalt organs.
On the way back, visit the splendid Creole garden of La Grivellière, rich in smells and flavors. Lunch at the table d'hôtes. Afternoon free time for a swim on the Caribbean side.

Day 03 Grande Pointe Trail, Trois Rivières
The Grande-Pointe trail: a unique route in Guadeloupe where the Amerindian heritage is intertwined with petroglyphs, the heritage of the sugar past with the remains of a windmill and a sugar refinery, the military heritage with cannons , the battery and its powder magazine. Creole lunch, swimming in the late afternoon at the black sand beach of Grande-Anse, facing the Saintes archipelago.

Day 04 The famous Carbet Falls
Immersion in the heart of the tropical forest with a loop hike to discover the most courted waterfalls on the island: The famous Carbet Falls. We will pass by the "Paradise" basin, a natural hot spring coming directly from La Soufrière. Lunch, swimming, relaxation until our return at the end of the day, where we will go swimming at Grande Anse beach.

Day 05 The Deshaies coastline
Coastal hike on the northern coast of Basse Terre between Deshaies and Sainte-Rose: A hike from the cane fields with a view of the lagoon. Lunch in a Creole restaurant on a caramel-colored sandy beach.

Day 06 Ascent of the Soufriere volcano
Today we leave for the highlight of the stay: The ascent of the Soufriere volcano, the highest point in the Lesser Antilles (1,467 m), from where the panorama, in clear weather, is breathtaking.
We will walk in the middle of fumaroles, chasms, pitons ... and orchids. Your guide will explain the volcanic phenomenon of the "old lady", which is part of the "Pelean" type eruptions.
Picnic and lighthouse direction of Vieux-Fort. Here is the junction between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Swimming possible at the foot of the lighthouse. Viewpoint over Saintes, the island of Dominica, and on a clear day, on the island of Montserrat.

Day 07 Excursion to the island of Terre de haut, in the heart of the Saintes archipelago
Departure by boat from the port of Trois-Rivières and crossing to the island of Terre de Haut, the easternmost island of the Saintes archipelago.
We leave for a short hike nicknamed "La Trace du Fort Caroline" from Marigot Bay, an exceptional viewpoint of Basse Terre and the Soufriere volcano. This crest trail continues and ends in beauty on one of the most beautiful beaches of Saintes: La Plage de Pompière. The iguanas are the kings here!
Outdoor lunch on the beach, relaxation and swimming, free time to visit the village before taking the boat at the end of the day to Basse-Terre.

Day 08 End of stay, arrival in France on day 9
